Meta Aftershock

It was just awesome.Oh ya,I was emceeing again and guess who was my partner?Samantha Ong.Awesome partner.Altered Frequency was performing that morning.They performed two songs from their out coming album.I forgot the names of their new songs.My bad.
Anyway,thousand appreciation to those who organized this event.Quite a number of people who gave their lives to God that day and rededicated their lives to God.

Dilemma Solved

Yeah,this is regarding the dilemma I was having last two day.It was about whether to go for Inter-School Rally Worship Team Audition.The answers all came to me last night.I told my mum about this audition thingy and she wasn't really please with it.She said that I'm really lacking in my studies.More I've been really busy busy these few weeks involving in church practices."Remember you have a Major Exam to seat for end of the year,"quoted my mum.Oww...how nasty was that.

Later I head to church *again* for music practice and there I asked Jon Koh how to play Take it All on Acoustic guitar.He used open B chords to play the riff.My fingers must be "clawed" properly in order to have perfect clear sound.*Nasty*

All these "signs" came all of a sudden on the eve of the audition.I went home thinking thoroughly about these signs and I concluded that God has sent me signs telling me not to go.So morning arrived and I decided not to go.Later in the evening Josh smsed me telling me that there was this girl skillful playing the acoustic guitar and telling me that I won't have a chance if I was there too.Wow,at the moment I felt that my decision for not going to the audition is really right.God is really above all everything.He has plans for me maybe not in the Worship team but some else.

Saturday will be Mega Worship held in La Salle Hope it will be great and thrilling.Altered Frequency will be there performing.I'll be emceeing once again with Samantha Ong.Bless her God.So,see your guys there.

Dilemma

My mid year examination is about one week fro now.I really can't believe it.I feel that my form5 year has just started and all of the sudden it's already mid year.Two monthly tests had pasted and I skip some of the papers on both tests.I really don't know where I really stand in class.I've lacking in my studies ever since Form Three.I guess I'm enrolling myself into too much activities.I must seriously cut down some of it.
When I'm about to launch my studying campaign here comes another threat to this campaign of mine.Inter-school Rally Audition for worship team.To be frank,I really want to play in the team.I really hope that I could serve in the worship team bcoz testimonials from previous musicians describing awesome blessing have really stir my feeling and willingness to serve the the band.The audition will be tmr in Grace.Really having dilemma in this.I hope God will show me His way tonite.I really need your confirmation,oh Lord.

Well,I just have to let God to show me His path.Lean not on your own understand but rely on Him.In anything you do,acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight.Really holding onto this verse.

Reunion or Competition?

This few weeks Jonathan,Reinchez and I have been practicing for our upcoming "Puisi dan Lagu" competition.It's like converting a poem into a song.Puan Maizon created the poem and we have to convert it into a song by finding the melody for it.
Jonathan contributed the most I guess in finding the melody for the song and Reinchez inserted Civil War intro into the song.Love the last Chorus when Reinchez feed in with some blue scales.

After weeks of practices,we went for the competition in Dato Hamzah School.Reached there around eight plus and the most suprising thing was Reinchez and I got to meet up with many of our old schoolmates.We met Andrey Tan before the competition.She was involved in the competition.She was representing her school,Raja Mahadi.She was the vocalist.After that,we met Vinod , Pakeyarah*I dont remember how to spell his name* and some of our old Malay buddies.

My team was the fifth on the list.When it was time for us,my heart was pounding blood drastically to my whole body.Nerves to narrow.Sign of nervousness I guess but it all soon went off.Thank God.I played according to tempo but our "lead guitarist",Reinchez claimed that he made mistakes during the feeding in part.Didn't really notice that but over all he had great time up stage.

Getting back to my old schoolmates,I really missed them alot.I can't even recognised Pakeyarah.Anyway.it was wonderful catching up with them especially after five years of not catching up with all of them.I still felt that there isn't enough time for us to chat bcoz before we could finish catching up each other back ground,each one of us has to return to our respective schools.*Hate it when there isn't enough time for things we enjoyed*

Anyway,my school didn't win anything.I'm kinda sad about this.The judges commented that our melody was more to pop.They wanted a more "Malayish" tune.But looking on the bright side,we got to reunite with our old mates.Great time.We'll catch up more some other time.
